Build with Vaelor

What the Vaelor API does and how the docs are organized.

The Vaelor API gives you programmatic access to the same models and tools that power the Vaelor workspace: streamed chat across three model tiers, image and music generation, file handling, and long-running OSINT investigations. Every request draws from the same credit balance as your account.

Shell
curl https://api.vaelor.chat/v1/chat \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $VAELOR_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"text": "Summarize the plot of Hamlet in three sentences.", "attachments": [], "config": {"model": "flash", "modes": [], "uncensored": false}}'

API reference#

Base URL#

All endpoints live under a single versioned base URL. Requests must use HTTPS; plain HTTP is rejected.

Text
https://api.vaelor.chat/v1

Request bodies are JSON unless an endpoint says otherwise (file uploads use multipart/form-data). Responses are JSON, except for streamed endpoints, which are described in Streaming.

Versioning#

The current version is v1. We add fields and endpoints without changing the version, so build your client to ignore fields it doesn't recognize. Breaking changes ship under a new version prefix, and the previous version keeps working for at least 12 months after the announcement.

Using Vaelor without code?

The guides cover the workspace itself: long drafts, images, uncensored mode and how your history is stored.
