You decide what Vaelor keeps. This page explains what's saved, how to keep a conversation out of your history, and how deletion works. For the full legal detail, read the Privacy Policy.
What's saved#
| Data | Saved | Until |
|---|---|---|
| Chats | Yes | You delete them |
| Generated images and tracks | Yes | You delete them |
| Files attached to chats | Yes | You delete the chat |
| Temporary Chats | No | Held only while the response is delivered |
| API chat requests | No | Vaelor doesn't store /v1/chat conversations; your client keeps them |
Temporary Chat#
Temporary Chat is for conversations you don't want to keep. Temporary Chats:
- aren't saved to your chat history;
- don't read from or update memory and personalization;
- disappear when you close or leave them.
Start one with Temporary chat on the home screen, or open /chat?temporary=true.
"Not saved" doesn't mean nothing is processed. Your messages still pass through the model and network infrastructure needed to answer them. Usage records, such as credits charged, are still kept.
Deleting#
- One chat: open the chat menu and choose Delete. Memory derived from that chat is removed as well.
- Everything: Settings → Danger zone → Delete my data deletes every chat, file, image and track but keeps your account and credits.
- Your account: Settings → Danger zone → Delete account.
Both actions require a recent sign-in and can't be undone.
Deletion is completed within 30 days. Copies in encrypted backups expire within a further 35 days.
Downloading your work#
Images and tracks can be downloaded from their tools in the workspace. Over the API, you can list and download your images and tracks, and export OSINT cases as Markdown or JSON.
Sharing#
Sharing a chat creates a public, read-only link. Anyone with the link can read the chat as it was when you shared it. Delete the chat to revoke the link.
