FAQ

Answers to common questions.

Account & plans#

Do unused credits roll over?#

No. Plan credits refresh every 12 hours, at 00:00 and 12:00 UTC, and unused plan credits expire at each refresh. Permanent credits from credit packs and rewards never expire, and they're only spent once your plan credits run out.

Can I change plans at any time?#

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately with a larger allowance from the next refresh. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period.

What payment methods do you accept?#

Cryptocurrency through our payment processor, and your Vaelor account balance. See Pricing for the current options.

How do I sign in?#

With email and password, Google, or a crypto wallet. One account works across every tool, and you can link more sign-in methods in Settings.

API#

Is the API billed separately?#

No. API requests spend the same credits as the workspace, at the same rates. There's no minimum spend and no extra API fee.

Can I use the API from the browser?#

Not with your API key — anyone who can see the key can spend your credits. Call the API from your own server and expose only what your front end needs. See Keeping keys safe.

Is there an official SDK?#

Not yet. The API is plain HTTPS with JSON, so fetch, requests or any HTTP client works. Every reference page includes cURL, TypeScript and Python examples.

How do I see what a request cost?#

Every request appears in GET /v1/usage under activity, with the model, token counts and credits charged.

Models & content#

Which model should I use?#

Start with medium. Drop to flash for high-volume or latency-sensitive work, and move up to high with reasoning for problems that need careful thought. See Models.

What is Uncensored Mode?#

An optional 18+ mode for mature fiction and frank discussion of hard subjects. It never permits unlawful content. See Uncensored mode.

Do you train on my data?#

No. Vaelor doesn't use your private conversations to train its models or sell them as training data. See the Privacy Policy.

Who owns what I generate?#

You do, to the extent the law allows. You're responsible for how you use outputs. See the Terms of Service.
